3 scoops juggernaut about 30 minutes before a 4 hour strongman session. Between the pre-workout and the energy of a bunch of crazy people lifting weights that could kill them if we missed, all kinds of work was done. Finished the session with a last man standing 18 inch deadlift. I hit 615 before missing 655. Our 265er hit 725 for a big PR.

2 scoops of juggernaut today before events technique training. Felt beat up from yesterday, but got some damn good work in and didn't feel much of the aches once juggs kicked in.

That's great to hear about lessening the soreness. What kind of lifts did you do for technique training? I am newer to the Power Lifting style of training, but I have incorporated some form training days in my current program. Wondering if that's a similar idea?

We hit axle clean and press first. The axle is about 2.5 inches thick, making it very hard to grip. Worked up to triples around 200 pounds, focusing on driving the elbows forward into the rack position, since the axle is a solid bar, and has no spin, making it a lot harder than a normal oly bb.

We also hit stones to shoulder, log press, circus db, axle snatches, and did prowler sprints at some point.

Oh ok, so working are different parts of the lift by using other lifts and tools. My current "form" days are more like eccentric or negative training, but really focusing on completing the lift absolutely perfectly. It is intense.

Its sort of like that, but we focus on the events that will be at the upcoming contests. For instance, the next Strongman contest I am doing has log press, max 18" deadlift, crucifix hold, and max keg load, so we train those events to get practice with them. Your form days sound awesome, and brutal too.

Had a relatively brief session today, finding openers for bench. Was pretty pumped to hit the gym anyway, but enjoyed the infusion of energy from juggs. The only downside I've had so far was the crash coming off of it. I may try upping water intake and seeing if that helps.
