At the end of the article the Author stated that in general terms, it was better to be fat and fit, rather than skinny and weak.

I should have bee sleeping on the flight instead of reading, but I had to have some coffee just to get going this morning. First day off and I'm up at 0430 to catch my flight to Houston. It beats the 1600 mile roundtrip drive I did last week to come home.

1-2 24 periods of fasting a week could be an option, like Brad Pilon suggests. I just finished reading Eat Stop Eat.

LOL, love how you get right to the heart of the matter.

BTW, I am not a black star wars guy. Though that comment did make me "LOL out loud."

Remind me what I said. I'm not getting enough omega 6 lately and my memory is failing me.

Sorry I wasn't clear. MVP referred to me as the black star wars guy in a previous post. I thought it was funny.

You just said that it was your goal to be just like me, but until that time you were going to spend the kids inheritance by flying all over kingdom come.

Just joking. You said nothing of the sort.

My diet has nothing to do with my quest to once again reach a 300lb bench press, how much I am squatting at the moment or what I even consider to be impressive in the back squat. Those are the comments of yours I quoted.

The only thing I changed was saying I'm considering dropping the cutting diet. That's it. My goals of lifting do not matter whether I am cutting or bulking. My strength training goals has not changed at all.

When challenged on that you refuse to listen to any opposing views. Either arguing back or ignoring them. You are living in denial, which is precisely why I gave you that reality check. You 'have no time' for eating clean, yet want to put more time into cardio? You have a child on the way, yet are living on fast food and have issues with blood pressure. Wake up?
This is once again proof you haven't read my messages. I do eat clean now. I said I am going to stop the planned strict diets. I never said anything about dropping eating clean.

I am no longer living on fast food. I quit eating fast food a couple of weeks ago when the whole thread to begin with started. Did you not read those parts?

I had high blood pressure even back when I was in the Army. That is actually one of the three reasons I was discharged. I was 5'7" 145lbs and 16 years old while running everyday and eating nothing but vegetables and I was still suffering from high blood pressure. It's hereditary.

Your qualifications do not exempt you from the basics. Every single person on this board puts their time into their goals with consistent determination, you are no different and quitting after a few weeks then coming on here looking to affirm that is not going to get you the high five's you're looking for.
Once again - I don't care who gives me high fives. I don't care who agrees with my goals or whatnot. I could go as far as saying I've already dropped a few pounds and I am done with the cut. I'm not sure why you would get so offended that someone dropped their diet.

Quote:
As I've said in previous posts, if you want to quit your previous plans then by all means do so but don't come on here looking for affirmation as I will not allow that to pass. Also if you are going to ask questions in the future, be prepared to listen to the answers with an open mind.
I did listen to answers. Yours stood out because it was more of an attack than an answer. You attacked my certs, my bench press goal, my signature, and how much I squatted in my past workout even though I already said I was starting light to focus on form...

6 on 1 is way too much for anyone to defend themselves.

Lets keep in mind I have spent the last several years on and off bulking. I haven't ever

How would a person maintain a high metabolism while sitting on the couch? Don't you think the small amount of calories you'd eat being a couch potato would take you out of anabolic state?

This was once again my statement from the get-go.

If I weighed 195lbs and my maintenance calories were 2700.

Lets say I ate 2700 calories per day.

Lets say one day I randomly thrown in HIIT cardio

My demand for calories would increase with the new anaerobic activity.

If I did not increase my calories, then I would lose weight.

^ That's the only point I've made with the cardio and it was blown way out of proportion.

Bazavama, Sorry. I couldn't remember your username and the guy in your avatar reminded me of Darth Vader.

This is kind of my logic with my reasoning for starting the thread. I'm afraid if I lose a lot of weight it's going to hinder my strength gains. I have a small bone frame and I'm not sure how I'd look at a low bodyweight.
