That's the sort of injury/problem that would bother me, given the amount of years you've been lifting and lifting heavy but have never experienced it before; if it continues, I'd get it looked in to. Tenderness and weakness, could be literally anything, and by this point in time, you know your body well enough to know that something is just not quite right.

Take a couple of weeks with either extremely light work or avoiding anything that may exacerbate it, i.e., bench press (unless it goes well today for you) and if it's still no better, or worse even, time to go to the doc's.
