Default Stop eating before bed

my wife is concerned about gaining weight and says not food after 7 for her. She thinks that if she eats after this time the food will turn to fat in her body. Is she correct on this? It does not bother me to eat after 7.

As long as you're alive, your body is using calories. So if you're still getting fat because you ate after 7, and you're dead, then you have bigger problems than just gaining fat.

I've eaten a massive calorie laden meal 30 minutes prior to bed, never been a problem.
