I heard an interesting point not necessarily about energy drinks, but pre workout formulas which really made me think. Since, pre workouts are basically energy drinks I thought I would throw this in here.

Pre-workouts claim to give you crazy pumps, but stimulants cause your blood vessels to constrict. So, they kinda cancel each other out. The N.O. dilates your blood vessels, but the stimulants constrict your blood vessels. Lets here some opinions on this

Used to drink around 4-5 of these a day. Then I spent too much time on MAB and a couple other sites. I've quit energy drinks and soda all together. Been over a year since I've had any of these high calorie high sugar drinks.

Honestly, I drink a lot of rockstar energy drinks, the no-sugar ones are my favorite.

Especially the non-carbonated, sugar free ones, those ones are great.

Back in the day when we used donkeys... we had instant coffee made at home or nothing, much cheaper and a lot less per serving in terms of every ingredient. Nowadays, it tends to be like a tall smoothie but hot instead of with ice.

Kids up here have no respect for money, they are forever seen flinging 1s, 2s and 5s (pences) onto the ground; I sometimes wonder what their parents would think if they could see them.

It's honestly terrible. I know a guy that would be dropped off at school early every morning by his parents, and if I got there early enough, I'd always see him drinking his Monster. I tried to say how bad those things are for him, but he basically cut me off to say that for various 'insert melodramatic crap' reasons, he needs this to help him get going for the day. I just gave up and left him to it. He's a very stubborn person, and thinks he's bigger than he really is. The funny part was when he tried to use his being bigger than me as an excuse for why he needed these drinks to get up in the morning... when it was obvious he needed more sleep.

I've developed a habit, that whenever I pass a vending machine I look in the change compartment. It's rare, but I find the odd quarter or loonie in there. As well, I've long had a habit of looking at the ground when I walk. Partially confidence and what not, but its reinforced by the dimes and nickels I find. I cannot count the number of times I've just had the money for something because I picked up a dime the day before.

I do the same, mostly I'm watching to make sure I don't end up putting my foot in some nice pressie left by an owner's dog but when I see any small change it gets picked up; I figure it's better spent or placed in a charity box than it is left on the pavement.

Me and my wife usually go to Starbucks only around Christmas. It's kind of a holiday ritual. We like getting an expensive coffee before we head home to open gifts.

Once a year...we must seem like freaks.

I love coffee, I always have. Admittingly, I am a heavy coffee drinker. I have been drinking it since my early twenties (and more than 5 cups per day).

In recent years, I sometimes can drink two pots PER DAY. I don't go to expensive coffee shops and shell out the big bucks for something I can make at home just as good and be more cost effective. The last time I had a thorough check up (inside and out, with a fitness test) was 3 months ago (I get one every 6 months), and I am in excellent condition.

In addition, caffeine (speaking in terms of someone whom uses it much less than I do), can also be used as a mild diuretic to remove water when dieting for certain goals--where applicable (so it has its uses). When I donated one of my kidney's to my wife's mother (to save her life sometime ago), I asked the kidney specialist if I should restrict caffeinated coffee (because of its diuretic properties), because I was concerned on overworking one kidney. He said I did not have to based upon individual properties and personal history.

I go once a season at most. Besides, not a huge coffee person, and the place next door has free coffee anyway so...lol.

To each there own.
