Default Fitness Trainers

Ok gang, I'm turning to my fellow board members in hopes of finding some information on becoming a fitness trainer. We are going to be sending 2 guys from the fire station to become trained as fitness trainers. Hoping to find something that is geared towards athletes and performance more than anything else.

You should look into the NSCA- national strength and conditioning association. They have a certification in Tactical Training which is geared towards performance in law enforcment and all careers dealing with rescue, especially firefighters. Highly recommend to look into it. I've gone to seminars where they strictly lecture about the physical demands of the career during emergencies and the best way to train for those types of situations
