Default Tennis Elbow

Has anyone ever suffered from this? I have it in my left elbow to the point I feel it at the end of every workout. Bench press and weighted chins flare it up like crazy. I can deal with it now, I just feel like it is going to get a lot worse if I don't do something, and I want lifting less to be a last option.

I just use a forarm brace when Mine flair up. The Doc put me on
Naproxen Sodium 220mg
2 x a day.
For the most part it seams to help.

Welcome to the forum.

I had it brutally bad starting in 1997 and stopping in 2007. Around this time I started curling less, and started deadlifting for the first time. My tendinitis went away in less than a month.

It had been so bad that I thought my elbow was going to rip apart.

I can't say that my cure is anything other than a fluke, but deadlifts seemed to strengthen and balance what needed to be balanced.

Before 2007 I tried everything to make it better...nothing worked.

If deadlifting works it will hopefully kill 2 birds with 1 stone since my knees have been hating me for awhile due to frequent squatting. I was on a routine that switched between deadlifting and squatting every time but I just gradually started to only squat. Thanks for the tips.
