I've fallen slightly short on my weight loss goals. I've still made good progress, but it's been harder than I expected. Age, and a slower-paced lifestyle have really posed new challenges. I have adapted to these challenges and am moving forward, despite a few setbacks.

At the beginning of the year I set a goal to have a 250 bench max. I've fallen well short. I don't think I could get 225 right now. I've learned I can't bench for anything.

No,

Yes, I fell, literally. I was hurt more seriously than I first suspected.

That I'm not 20 anymore. I have to be more careful with progression, and not push my connective tissue as hard as I did.


I was down but not out. I'm stepping back up to the plate with a new bat today!

I did some flyes on Saturday. I had my dumbells still set up from the last time I did flyes with them. They were about 50lbs and felt way heavy. I've fallen a long way, but I'm confident that I'll regain my strength fairly fast. I had to lower the weight down to about 25lbs.

No benching for me for awhile. Heavy on DIPS, and PLANCHES.

I've been dipping myself lately. But no planches though. I am 100% planche free, and I'm not sure if that is good.

Planches are incredibly hard. When paired with levers, you get an almost total upper body compound workout.

If you were to incorporate some of this work you would see your metabolism speed up. It really burns the cals.

i've hit my goal for my bulk..had the hardest time gaining weight alway stuck at 175-180 but got crushing and got my weight up to a high of 209..time to cut down now for the show!
