Default Doing academic research into protein requirements - can anyone help?

Hey everyone,

I'm studying sports science and nutrition at University, and am currently writing a 6000 word study into protein requirements for weight lifters and athletes in general.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any science based studies that looked into this topic?
I've got a few already, but I asked if I could ask here on the forum to see if there were any I hadn't come across which they said was fine.

Thanks a lot!

I would suggest trying to contact Layne Norton, or having a good dig around his website. I know he used to be very willing to discuss academic papers with anyone who'd try and contact him, but not sure how much free time he has these days/how much appetite he has to do things for free.

I've heard of his research but I didn't think he'd reply if I asked.
Worth a shot I guess, cheers Nezzy.

Looking at his Twitter feed he seems to respond to most questions people ask him, though not sure how much info you can get from one tweet!

I haven't actually got a twitter account, but I'll try shooting a question his way.
Cheers.
