Do you lift on weekends? Why or why not?

Every Saturday I'm in the gym by 8:00am.

I do so because I lift 4 days per week and need rest between workouts.
Mon - Bench A
Wed - Squat
Fri - Bench B
Sat - Deadlift

Yes. I train full body on Saturday, just like I do from Monday to Friday. If the gym was open on Sundays, I'd be doing it then as well.

Why? Because I like high frequency training, and also find that it works better than low frequency (assuming certain things, etc.)

Occasionally.

Usually it's to make up a day if I missed an afternoon work out during the week.

Other times it just fits the program better if I want to put more work in, say add a fourth day, if I'm feeling sufficiently recovered.

I love it. No stress, plenty of time to train and warmup, maybe even talk around for a bit with the friends at the gym. Then also, there is time for multiple breakfasts and alot of good eating in general. And maybe a nap inbetween :-D

Yes.

Being that I only lift one day a week....it's Saturday. And if I miss Saturday due to beer consumption....then it's Sunday.

Saturday Sunday Tuesday Thursday these days. With a regular work schedule, only having to get up extra early twice a week is appealing.
