Default Weight placement

Just something to consider.

Most of us have seen and probably even execute this exercise with the weight load at the front, in front of the shins, sometimes way out in front, as can be seen in many youtube vids and book images.

Obviously, as the load needs to increase beyond what you can either get on a DB, adjustable DB handle, or in KB form, then in front with the barbell is the only way to go...aside from using the Hex-Bar (which I assume would work in much the same way as with DBs/KBs to the side, apart from the hand angle, of course) but for the remainder of the time is this technique more suited...it may be, even if only replacing some of the front loaded, forward bending movements that we do and shifting the centre of gravity a little therefore placing less stress on the back whilst still getting stronger at the same time.

Mostly, I posted this for those that haven't seen this version, people can decide whether it fits within their particular set-ups, goals, and needs etc:
