Squat technique and body proportions
On USA powerlifting .com (can't post links) The author says "I suggest if you are that long legged, short torso person is to squat with the bar in a high bar position. This will lessen the degree of forward lean you will have to achieve to keep the bar over your foot during the squat. For the long torso, short leg person the low bar position is advantageous because it will allow you to stand more upright and will reduce the work done by the low back."
Do you agree? Because I've seen many people including that IceCreamFitness guy say the opposite.
I know I'm overthinking this, but how should the long legged guy squat!?

Wide squatting is more technical. I personally believe every beginner should spend an extended amount of time with a conventional, comfortable width squat stance.
As far as high/low bar, it's going to be a comfort thing. These is no right/wrong answer. The best thing you can do is squat, video it, and have us help you fix any huge flaws.
Find a comfortable, natural squat width and bar position for you. Text book answers should never trump that.
