Default Washing/Cleaning Olympic Lifting Shoes

How do you guys clean your Olympic Lifting Shoes?

I have a pair of Adidas Power Perfect II and they are starting to get pretty smelly . I want to wash them but I'm afraid of putting them in a machine wash in case it damages the shoe.

Anyone got any ideas??

Thanks

I've washed my trainers in the washing machine loads of times. They come out like new. I always put them on a low heat so any glue in the sole doesn't melt and I also put them on a slow spin cycle. If they are still wet at the end of the wash I leave them with the laces out on the washing line or on a radiator in the house.

I would deal with the smell. You're at the gym not in a club No sense risking the damage.

Yeah. I deadlift in socks and my gym floor makes my socks black and the inside of my olys are black and ruin any sock I put on and wear those shoes, but I'm not risking it. I've washed shoes in the washer before but just febreeze them boys and let it roll.

Use bicarbonate of soda; plenty of info as to how to go about it, for different items, online.
