AND.....at least some people are getting off there asses and doing something. I also think that Crossfit was just a rebadged version of Circuit Training.

We are all fighting the same battle here; the battle to help people improve their health and fitness levels. I don't care if they do gardening or crossfit, if they enjoy it.

I know there are a lot of goofballs int he Crossfit community, but there are also 10x as many in other lifting communities.
yeah, really. i'd never want to do crossfit and i admit that i might scoff at their stupid pull-ups sometimes. but what i really don't get is why someone would make a commentary video childishly bashing this guy who's actually strong and in great shape. he pulls 560 at 205lbs, what a pansy, right?

i have a serious problem with certain people, like child molesters and whatnot.
but crossfitters? dudes who like to train really hard and do stupid pull-ups and get all hot and sweaty with sexy girls in a "box"? hell, if that's what they like to do, it's fine by me.

Most good looking crossfit chicks were already good looking before xfit. Plus Tbh I prefer ladys with boobs rather than veiny delts. But thats just me.

Crossfit is good overall. If you want to have some good all round fitness go for it. It not just circuit training. Its branded strength and conditioning really.

Some of the higher level people are doing very impressive stuff. A 60kg woman overhead squatting 80kg is formidably strong, in my view.

I agree with RGRthat - it's just tribalism.
I agree it is an us versus them mentallity. Some of the crossfit stuff looks pretty challenging to me. They are working- that is better than not working.
