Dangerous:

1, Leg extensions (I have tweaked my knee's on that damn thing a number of times. Never hurt myself squatting)

2, Smith machines - As soon as I use one I get hurt in on way or the other. If its not elbow tendinitis getting worse its a muscle pull in the upper back or delts feeling funky. I once tried to do standing calves in one but bumped my head in the top bar on first rep since im 6'4. Very dangerous.

3, Any kind of chest press machine - Strained my collarbone tendon from doing a set of 12 with 40kg's last time I used one. Very dangerous and counter productive.

4, Preacher curl machine - Elbows on fire!

And so on..

Not dangerous:

1, Squats, deads, overhead presses and bench press - I tore my glute medius on a deadlift as a beginner but that was from plain stupidity and nothing to blame on the deadlift.

2, Olympic lifts - Bruised my delts from catching the clean but nothing more to report here.

3, Strongman events - Hurts but its up to you to stop being a lil bitch =) Never injured myself training events, yet.

I hate smith machines, nothing like taking the core out of every lift. Gives folks a false sense of strength.
