There are many exercises labelled as dangerous. So, what exercises have you guys seen labelled as dangerous?

I was told recently that two of the hamstring exercises I like to teach are the most dangerous movements we do at FFTK.

My response? Maybe so, but no one I train puts a bar on their back or adds weigh to the bar, for RDL, until they have the form spot on.

IMHO, most danger comes from improper form before too much weight. If you can't do the exercise correctly, you really do not have any need to be doing the exercise.

its such an odd phenomena -- beginners calling out experts on apparently set-in-stone lifting laws. like you'll watch a YouTube video of some famously strong powerlifter deadlift a zillion pounds, and the comments erupt with "he was rounding his back!," "he's doing it all wrong: he's not bending his knees enough!," "he's not activating his glutes enough; this guy's a failure."

almost as if, were it possible, they would find a way to arrest the expert and put her/him in jail. it's a bit disturbing; it's like they want to find a way to have something to hold over you.

edit: T-Nation actually had a decent article related to this. reps to whoever can find it (i couldn't find it just now)

behind the neck press, deadlifts, squats, preacher curls, overhead press.

IMO any exercise can be dangerous if you don't know proper form and/or use way too much weight because you can't control your ego.

I had someone tell me to take weight off the bar before I hurt myself...I was still warming up

Also told that anyone who squats over 225 needs a spotter.

And that curling more than 30lbs is a waste.

As well as power cleans being useless.

Deadlift
(I have been told the best way to strengthen my back is to cut out harmful lifts like deadlift and focus on strengthening the "core" by doing sit ups.)

Full squats
(the same kind soul offered to fix my squat form. He said going below parallel will hurt my knee and demonstrated the proper squat form - which is half of a half squat.)

I am sorry to report that the same gentlemen now suffers from knee and back problems.
