I also competed in bull riding, bareback bronc riding, team roping, calf roping, and steer wrestling. But all that really did was beat the hell out of me. Fun though.

I did a fair bit of cycling in my younger days. Nothing serious. These days flat water kayaking is more my speed.

i used to kickboxing karate and boxing spent allot of my spare time working on my conditioning for those type of sports, i was alot lighter and fitter then.

done a fair bit of manul work aswell like labouring on building sites and worked in a quarry for nearley 2 years breaking big slabs of stone with a sledge hammer. I still do help my dad out with garden clearences and fencing, tree cutting and logging it up.

I love being outside. Hiking or minimalist camping has always been my go to for a fun physically active day.

I was a runner for 12-13 years. Also used to do a lot of biking, up to 50 mile sessions per day. Also enjoyed skipping rope, playing tennis, golf and skating.

For sports I was a wrestler, and did very well playing basketball and baseball.

were you naturally good at track or were you interested in it and eventually became good?

cricket, biking (past)
taekwondo (present)
judo (coming up, along with taekwondo, this summer).

I was just looking for some stuff to help with cardio, because I hate running. Martial arts seem to fit the bill nicely.

From 13-16 me and 1 or 2 other guys did knife fighting (or whatever you prefer to call it, defense, sparring, whatever. Some people get their panties wadded up over the technical terms) drills every single night. I got bruised up!

Still play volleyball and dodgeball here and there. Nothing special.

I played soccer (actual football...) for many years...when I was younger. Also tennis, badminton, squash, a little raquetball, and swimming.

Now golf is my go to conditioning sport...JK...it could be, though, if I could afford it.

Actually, I do a fair amout of conditioning work at home - KBells, plyo exercises, complexes, treadmill, rope jumping, calisthenics, etc. My go to conditioning w/o is using a Tabata app on my IPhone. You can set up the number of cycles (for me that's exercises) and tabatas (for me that's rounds). You can also set up your work time (eg: 30 sec) and your rest times (eg: 10-15 sec). You hit start and it will tell you to "work" or "rest". I don't count reps - just go as hard as you can/want. It even lets me play my music in the background.
