I did those banded squats. Loop or tie an exercise band around your knees, then squat down pressing the band apart. You could use a belt too, but that is actually harder at first. Band is easier to start with to learn the motion you need. Helped a ton figure out how hard you have to push your knees out. They'll make your butt ache at first, but it gets easier!

As for hip stretches search youtube for hip stretches by Donnie thompson or by kelly starret (mobilitywod.com) his youtube channel is sanfranciscocrossfit I believe.

Either of those guys have the best stretches and mobility work out there on the web in my opinion.
