If she decides on yoga, please ensure that whoever she is taught by is qualified enough to advise her of the contraindicated postures and knows about them, if she does it herself and doesn't have anyone to ask about which poses are not sensible during pregnancy make sure she does some searches on the internet regarding poses and pregnancy.
As with most other forms of exercise, the poses that are permitted early on ion a pregnancy are considered unsafe at later stages of a woman's pregnancy; some poses will depend on whether she has done yoga before and others will be modified but some will be a definite no-no.
