Default What is wrong with me

So lately I have been just so tired. I sleep 8 hours a night and do not feel like getting out of bed. I go to work and then come home and just want to crash without eating, but I always eat and get some sort of workout in. Here the weather has just been awful. Hardly any sun, cold, lots of snow. I think that may have something to do with it. Do you?

It's possible. Could also be sleep apnea. Are you heavyset?

Could be Vitamin D (D3) supplementation might help?

Not saying it would for sure, but something to consider maybe, and it's cheap anyway.

So many possibilities though...

I think that happens to all of us. Personally, that has happened to me as well. We all can't be amazing in the gym 24/7, and neither can you. It your bodies way of telling you to rest. It the natural way our body cycles, just like the seasons. It can't be summer forever.

How long has this been going on? I would suggest that you say something to your doc about it, maybe she could help you figure out what is going on. It could be a lot to things from that to sleep apnea to other issues.

Maybe it's a mild bit of seasonal depression effecting you. Although, if you're just tired, I doubt it.

Try taking extra vitamin D, a vitamin B complex, and seeing if maybe your diet is playing any role in the lethargy. Maybe even some caffeine here and there will help.

Could be mild depression, could be SAD, could be any number of things; it's for a qualified doctor to diagnose.

I agree that you should go to the doc to diagnose it. There are a number of things that do make you tired all the time and you should not take that into your hands and try to diagnose it.

Could be any number of things.

I would start with your doc....get some blood work. It's possible you have a vitamin D deficiency most people do...especially during the winter months.

If you have sleep apnea that could be very disruptive to your sleep. I suffered from it for about 6 years until I dropped 141lbs!

Have you been to the doc yet? I would suggest going. If it is sleep apnea that is not something that you really want to mess around with. It can be very dangerous to your health if you do not get it taken care of.
