Gall bladder

In 2009 I had my gall bladder taken out. Lately I have been getting the same feeling that I had when I was having a gall bladder attack only it is not as intense. Is this normal? I can usually eat something and the pain will go away. But somedays the pain comes back within half an hour or so and is just annoying. Anyone have any experience with this?

Still in contact with your specialist? Probably best to ask him/her... it could be a common post-op occurrence, it could be something best addressed promptly or it could be something else that you interpret as "gall bladder related" due to your experience, but is not....appendicitis, for example.

Not saying I know anything except you should find out for sure and not get an internet guess from non-medically trained strangers. :)

Good luck and feel better!

I agree to see your doc or the one that did the surgery. I am not all that familiar with gall bladders but you may wish to find out in case it gets worse.

I had mine out and the surgeon told me that it might not work in all patients. Hopefully you are not one of these people. Contact your surgeon and see.

It could be something to do with the gall bladder but you should have it checked out no matter what just in case it is something more serious.

I had mine out and have never had issues since then. The pain that I used to have was so intense, the worst I have ever had. It felt like heart burn on a scale of 100.

I would call and ask if this is normal. Or what they could do about it if it was related to your gall bladder. It would be worth checking out.

I agree that you need to get it checked out. You just can never be too sure about stuff like this. It is worth the call at least.

Yes, sounds like a talk with the doctor would be best.
