oil of oregano

I have heard about oil of oregano for your health when you get sick. Where do I find it at and how exactly do you take it? What do you take it for?

An essential oil. Stuff can can be expensive depending on where and how much you get. I have a store near me that sells essential oils, but I do not know if you could get it from a Whole Foods or something similar. Online is easy to order it. Just keep in mind that you want to put about 2-3 drops in a carrier oil, such as jojoba oil.

What is the correct way to pronounce it? Thought we were saying it right.

American pronunciation:

o-REG-a-no (stress on second syllable; flat 'a' as in 'candle')

UK pronunciation:

o-reg-A-no (stress on third syllable; broad 'a' as in 'mark')

The Italians also stress the A.
