Default Old Injuries

Does anyone else ever have trouble with old injuries? I twisted my ankle really bad and actually sprained it when I first started running. I still have trouble with it from time to time. What advice can you give me so it does not bother me so much?

Could you see what your doc says? Maybe you have injured yourself more than what you thought?

Depends how old is considered old, if it's been within a year you should be speaking to someone to get it properly checked out in case there is the potential for rehab to work, if however it is decades old then you have to learn your body's limits and how to work around an injury; there is no other way, with old injuries.

I constantly deal with two old back injuries and an old knee injury, all of which are over 2 decades old with some being closer to 4 decades old.

You may have done more injury to it while you thought you were healing it. Get to your doctor is what I suggest.
