Long walks are great to calm yourself. Or running if that is what you like to do. And if you can find someone to walk with you to listen that is all the better.

Medication is not an enemy or a sign of weakness as many people believe. Go to the doctor and get checked out. I've been in that place and with the help of medication and therapy, I was able to get past it. Good luck to you.

OP hope you have seen a doctor.
What you're describing is a panic attack.
Doc may put you on meds or have you go
to a therapist....Either way you will get better
Do something like exercising, reading or
even a warm shower to relax it will help

Hopefully you made it to the doctor. How have things been with you lately? I know a few people that have been very depressed and got the help that they needed with meds. It is not a bad thing. So many people are turned off by meds but if they help you then that is all that matters.

Back in 1999 my life was a mess and I had these all the time. I finally decided enough was enough and that is when I started to lift. Since lifting I have had no trouble with it. I started taking care of myself better and since then the breakdowns just sort of vanished.
