Never knew that. You look like Clint Eastwood up there.

Only thing that stopped the bull riding was I started to have low back problems back then and Tammy and my Mom talked me out of it. To this day I still own a bull riding rope.

I used to have a bunch of places I would visit, when I was more in to amateur photography. But once film went away, I lost my interest in the work.. but while I was taking shots, my favorite places were Walden Pond in Concord, MA and Purgatory Chasms in Sutton, MA.

Walden Pond is a bit over crowded during the Summer, but it's a great place for a family day outside. Hiking, biking, beach and swimming, fishing, etc.. good stuff, and only 30 minutes out.

Purgatory Chams is my favorite place, and I still go there usually once a year just to walk around. It is the remnants of a glacier that retreated leaving a formation of rock that is amazing. I wish I had better picture I've taken, but nothing is loaded on my work machine. There's also hiking there, the occasional rock climbing class, and cross-country skier during the Winter months.

Both of those are just daily visit places though.. I go camping in NH a few times each year, at a dispersed camping area. I love it because it is in the woods, yet only 10 minutes from Interstate-93, with local towns a few exits away. The site I try to get is right along a river that is raging all year long, the sound of the water is so peaceful. Plus with room for mega-bonfires, it's a guaranteed good time. And we go biking along this old ski place, that still uses a chairlift to bring people up for the hike down. They also hook the bikes up so you can ride down the trails...

Wow, that looks fantastic. I've been to the beaches on Harris and Lewis, and Sandwood Bay up in Sutherland, but I've not made it to The Orkneys. I think you just gave me a reason for a visit.

I've done a lot of travelling, but over the last five years I've fallen in love with Scotland. I can't get enough of it.
