Default Creatine and/or BCAAs

Not really a diet and nutrition question or a supplement related question but more out of curiosity which is why I placed it in this section...so how many people use either creatine and/or BCAAs?

More intrigued about the people that use creatine but also interested to see how many use BCAAs as well.

My answer: I currently use neither.

I use BCAAs intra workout, every workout. They have become a staple supplement of mine. The research is there to justify its use, as is the anecdotal evidence. If I have a choice in the matter, I will not go without them. I currently am using Dymatize Recoup, but I have used xtend and another one which I can't remember the name of.
I go through phases with creatine. Not for really any reason other than I just get tired of taking it and I lean out a bit when I stop. Like BCAAs there is clinical and anecdotal evidence backing creatine up.
I use Creapure Micronized Creatine Monohydrate, because it works and I have a big container of it, but I am finding myself more and more interested in Con Cret, based on the opinions of MaB members.

I've heard and read a good bit on usage and their benefits, and for a while did take BCAAs and creatine preworkout (just as a convenient timing). I now take creatine monohydrate on occasion. Mostly money issues now.

I use both, notice a big difference when taking creatine. The reason I started taking BCAAs in the first place was I started intermittent fasting, though I am really happy with the choice so far.

I've used creatine and for me it provided a noticeable change in performance.

What is the board's feeling on using creatine while slimming down? It would help to preserve muscle while dieting down, but it can also result in something of a soft/puffy look.

I have used both. They are supplements that have given me noticeable benefits. Creatine was once a staple, but now the back and shoulder pumps I get from it are unbearable.

BCAAs I started using after a run with the Warrior Diet and noticed they helped stave off muscle loss. I have since started to believe that they are worthwhile for people who may not get optimal sleep, eat an optimal diet, or who may be cutting or training extremely hard.

I use bcaa's (xtend) every workout. Love the stuff.

Wanting to get some creatine, but i guess not bad enough yet to make a purchase. Lol. Aldo wanting to trim a few pounds slowly and creatine usually makes people hold water.... may get some, may not...
