Best Present Ever!

What are some of the best Christmas presents you received both as a child and an adult?

Topping the list for me was GI Joe with Kung Fu Grip!

As a child, I had this small cinema toy; it had proper reel film which went through onto a projector/or wall and there was Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as the two films that were with it...unfortunately it didn't work well and it had to be replaced after a short while, so that was a lost great gift.

It couldn't have been expensive at the time either, since my family weren't big spenders.

As an adult; a barbell, a few training books/DVDs, and some bread books.

There is nothing worse than a toy that isn't durable. My daughters wanted a game called "Pop the Pig" a few years back and the pig's stomach wouldn't pop. So frustrating to have sad faces on Christmas morning.

Yep! I think that's the reason, as adults, me and hubby make sure Xmas gifts to one another are bought ahead of time and tested, and then a small token gift gets placed under the tree.

One year, I got a TON of He-Man toys, including Castle GraySkull.

One of my most memorable gifts was the WWF's rock cassette tape. I played that a thousand times.

I also had a Tar Heel blue Jimmy Snuka t-shirt that I lived in.

As a child: spiderman costume. I loved it but was a little disappointed that I couldn't shoot webs.

As an adult: guitar hero. Played it nonstop for a week

The lounge I had built upstairs. Although it wasn't completed at Christmas, it certainly gets the most use then. I can stay in there until everyone has gone back home.
