For me, the logs on here are motivational.

For example, Faz's log motivates me, because he's stronger than me (and he's lighter). So now I'm lifting consistently - at least for the moment - it's fun for me to see what he's up to and if I can get anywhere near.

BTB's log doesn't motvate me at all, however, because he warms up with my 1 RMs

I think internet lifting sites like MAB are great. I train alone and none of my friends, colleagues, nor even Mrs T. - bless her - has a clue about weights. I could say I'd deadlifted 40kg, 140, 240 or 540 and they wouldn't have a scooby whether that was nothing special or a new world record. So it's good to get some feedback from other ordinary (and less ordinary) joes clinking and clanking away in their own little corners of the world.

Yep, I think I weighed around 155lbs or so and reduced my weight to 119lbs (via cardio and sensible eating), then added more lean tissue when I started with the weights and went up to about 130-135lbs (I think) but still lost some more inches, even though I didn't need to lose any at that point.

Not sure at what weight I'll stop on this current phase, since I may have more lean tissue due to lifting heavier as well, so I'm going to just let it run its course and see how I look and feel at each stage. I've lost 10lbs this past few months because I'd put weight back on due to illness, not being able to workout etc (over the past two years), but eating the same quantities as when I was training hard; but, it's not an issue and it's not out of control, so I'm not really concerned.

Go to youtube and search for muscle factory. The first dozen or so results should be their stuff. It's awesome, each one has a theme and they use quotes, sometimes out of context, but they still apply.

One of them has a quote about being hungry, and talking about how being hungry means your willing to do what other people won't do today to have tomorow what other people won't have.

I came up with a personal montra that I think you'll like, Chillen;

-I will be better tomorrow than I am today, because I will work harder today than I did yesterday.

Whenever I don't want to push myself for that extra rep, 5lb on the bar, or sprint, I always think of that saying.

I am not really sure what motivates me. One day I just woke up and was tired with myself and decided I wanted a change.
