McRobert was inevitably a big influence, for better or worse. After that Hepburn, Starr and Ditillo were massive influences.

Oh ya I did. I was a member of the Rountable when it was just a list. I think I was one of the first 50 members. I was also part of the "inner circle." I remember you from back in the day

Kubik is the Dinosaur Training guy?

Dinosaur is a very good book in the sense that motivates you to stick with hard work and simplicity.

I have to go with Bill Starr, Rippetoe, and Madcow. Big, basic movements, lots of food and consistent progression. They didn't invent these concepts, but they did/do work hard to keep them in the public eye. It's what has changed my workout forever.

I'll add BTB if for nothing more than the HUGE article archive heavily focused on the old school, preAAS, era of lifting and bodybuilding.

Yes I remember the list, the white background and expanding conversations. It used to be like Deepsquatter still is.

Good times! This place reminds me of what HGRT used to be like.

I appreciate. It's refreshing to know that this style of training is being considered. It is very easy to take heat for being a proponent of simplicity and hard work. Not many want to hear it, nor believe it. I have taken my fair share of lumps these last couple years.

Just call me the re-animator.

Even after seeing that video still a huge kaz fan. Others would Hepburn, Malanichev, Wendler, Tate, Rippetoe, Konstantinovs, and Big Z. Those are just my personal favorites and the ones who inspire me.

Yes, I would also add BtB to that list; he has given us a great place on the web where this type of training is praised instead of being called out-dated, he is always nice and willing to help, and everybody is welcome here.
