I go by the double time rule. For every second its on the ground, double that time back on the grill and you're good to go. If you're saying to yourself "well, i'm not grilling right now" then you really have to re-evaluate your life...

I will admit, my 5 second rule is longer than 5 seconds. Bacteria taste good.

I finally got around to seeing that video this morning. It was pretty cool to see them lift the car up, but no one bothered to drag him far enough away from the flames to make him safe of smoke-inhalation and a possible explosion from the car.
