Goal Check In
 
Goal check in time. What were your goals for 2011? Have you hit them? If not...What's slowing you down? What set you back?

My goals for 2011:

1) Compete. Completed.
2) 600 pound deadlift. Completed.
3) 400 bench. NOT completed. Struggled with strains from heavy raw lifting. Looking to use the RAM to train heavy and beef this lift up.
4) 240 bodyweight. NOT completed. Working on it right now.

My only goal was to stay healthy, and I've done that. Now I may be competing again, I'll have a think of some and write back later.

Goals for the year were...

Add 6lbs of muscle: Not checking untill the end of the year
4pps Deadlift: Currently at 385lbs
Lose 10lbs of body fat: Done

Also I have set myself a bench mark of Squatting 40 reps at Body Weight, I have increased strength across the board AND i have noticeably increased the size of my Yoke :cool:

Lose 100 pounds - FAIL. I've gained 15
OHP 100 kgs - achieved, but not repeated
Bench 120 kgs x 10 - FAIL, but I've not been focussing on it
... the fails keep coming, actually. I'll leave it there.

Start Deadlifting: Done - massive new Deadlift PR
Start Squatting: Done - Massive new FS PR
Start SM Training: Done - taken to it like a fish to water
Increase muscle mass: Done

Concentrate on the possitive buddy :)

We'll see buddy. I'm constantly amazed at the abilities of the guys I train with. Only thing to do is keep on pushing!
