Same here. For 20 years I didn't even know fullbody workouts or Upper/Lower splits existed. A powerlifter introduced me to Westside and it changed my world view, so to speak.

haha me too... I also didnt realise the bar was counter-balanced... It was fun when I tried 1pps for the first time without the smith, when i had been doing 1pps in the smith for ages... i almost got stapled lol

I'm not stupid but until 3 years ago I didn't know PCF ratios existed. I thought people just ate higher protein and used common sense for the rest of their diets to build muscle.

I'm not stupid but until recently I didn't know that certain people had a hard time eating large quantities of food. I thought if they wanted to, everyone could pig out.

That was an amazing realization for me as well. It never occurred to me that people actually couldn't eat like they were raised on the farm.

I'm not stupid, but once I used the chest press machine for my primary chest workout, the leg press machine for my primary leg workout, and the shoulder press machine for my primary shoulder workout.

And that was less than 3 years ago.
