Green Lantern

Just came from seeing the Green Lantern. It was horrendous. The script was weak, the CGI was average at best, and everything seemed forced. It was hard to care about what was going on.

This was on par, if not worse than Ghost Rider. I think there were only 2 scenes in which I was actually pulled in. The rest of the movie I was either trying to stay awake or thinking about dinner.

Too bad. I read some bad reviews that said the same thing. A shame too because the Green Lantern was always one of my favorites.

The Hollywood Reporter has a great little article on why it was so bad.

Great article MC. The part about DC only being a suggestor was interesting.

I personally did not care for Ryan Reynolds in this role. I didn't care for Cage in Ghost Rider nor the guy playing Reed Richards.

Ryan Reynolds to me was like the guy playing Reed Richards. He just didn't look right.
