Default Training and Baseball

So summer baseball's about to start up and I'm going to be pitching alot so I can't workout my upper body too hard for the next few weeks.

Any suggestions as to what I should be doing? Focusing more on lower body and doing upper body when I have a few days without a game? Any input is welcome

I would probably suggest training your upper body once a week when it makes sense. Maybe doing only one working set, but make it an all out effort. Possible a couple sets per bodypart, based on what your body can handle.

Something that will stimulate and challenge without leaving you taxed/drained and with DOMS.

that's what I was thinking...if I know I don't have a game for say 3-4 days then I'll go lift my upper body, but i'll focus on squats/deadlifts/cleans for the time being and really try to bring those up

Something you might want to consider in your upper body training is the Serape Effect of one arm push ups and the anti-rotation effect of one arm inverted rows.

Circuit style for upper body, work in higher rep ranges and flexibility. If you are preforming an exercise that can be done with dumbbells, do so.
