Squats - 98 reps...your turn!
Marunde Muscle :: Sarge is insane

^^ I can't link the vid so anyone that wants to see it will have to download it, but the link is fine. The link is found at the bottom of the article.

Watch the guys legs twitching at the end when he's crashed out on the floor.

Ive watched that video before and i cant believe he did not die from the lower back pump. That is a will of iron and some serious SQUATS!

Just for the record, I will NOT be trying that anytime soon.

I just want to point out that his efort on rep 90 reminded me of my effort on rep 5 at the same weight.

I bet afterwards he made a poo that EV would be proud of.

I want to try this by the end of this year.

I saw this before, but thought it was incomprehensible. Like some martian had done it, and I loved his enthusiasm and spirit. Now that I've done my own body weight in a squat for 100 times, but in sets of 5 over 50 minutes, I'm stunned anyone can even come close to this, in 12 minutes without letting the bar go. 98 squats at body weight without racking the bar is just ridiculous. Will power doesn't even begin to describe it. It's like Shakleford reaching the South pole "we've pierced the realm of outside things" or something like that.

Next year, I might try this. Remind me. You know in case I forget a challenge like this.
