Power racks

Hey gang havent' been around much due to college and 3 jobs. I was put in charge of finding information on Power Racks. Need some good recommendations for our new station weight room. :biglifter:

Here's a solid choice.

Mine is from this company, and I beat the crap out of it. It hasn't flinched in 4 years.

RACKS AND GYMS

Here's a few other choices:

EliteFTS (EliteFTS - Powerlifting and Strength Training Products and Knowledge for Lifters, Athletes, Coaches, and Trainers)
Rogue Fitness (Rogue Fitness :: Strength & Conditioning Equipment)
Texas Strength Systems (Home)

EliteFTS has top-notch gear, but you'll pay for it. Rogue is kinda middle of the road, while Texas Strength Systems is all about function without much regard for appearance. I've dealt with EliteFTS (for some smaller items, haven't bought a power rack yet), and rogue (bought shoes from them), but I have no experience with Texas Strength Systems.

Also, you may want to consider buying a power rack locally if you can find a GOOD gym equipment store -- on a power rack, you'll probably pay a significant shipping charge, which may well eat into any savings you get via buying over the internet.

Thanks aurik, yea shipping was a consideration, but at the same time that is a pretty minimal expense when outfitting a new fire station. Now don't want to sound like we have money to blow but we also want something that will last for years to come with a variety of users. Some lightweight stuff some lifting heavy.

Rogue is the one I couldnt think of earlier thanks for jogging my memory.
