GL, I've been following a modified beginner Westside template for the last few months...it's okay, but I think I want to run Smolov or Sheiko after my meet.

Steve and I had talked about Smolov at one point. We were looking at it from the volume that is built into it. We thought that it probably was primarily designed for enhanced lifters as opposed to naturals.

Not that it could not be used, but that it should be gradually worked into, by a natural, so as to allow for proper conditioning for the volume. I might still have some of that conversation saved somewhere.

Jwood, ran Sheiko and I believe he has an article writeup on his experience with it.

Agreed. But I have seen raw natural lifters that did benefit from it as well, using it for a couple months...it's just very hard.

I never used steroids and I went through Smolov without a problem.
