Here the basic program:

Quote:
StrongLifts 5x5 Sets & Reps
Workout A Workout B
Squat 5x5 Squat 5x5
Bench Press 5x5 Overhead Press 5x5
Barbell Rows 5x5 Deadlift 1x5
It's about the same as Rippetoe's Wichita Falls program except that chin ups are removed and replaced with rows.

And the increased volume, 5x5. As well, Mehdi finally understands that the higher volume can be too much for people, so he says that later when (er, "if", honest) they stall they can go to 3x5, and later still to 1x5.

Most of the document, along with his previous ones, tell us a lot about his coaching experience. Cues that don't work with people, exercise descriptions which are just a little bit off, and so on.

This blog entry is most telling. 4.39% of his income comes from his online "coaching." 'Nuff said, really. He's not a coach, he's an online marketer.

I know he took some slack recently at T-Nation, and even pulled his workout log from his site because his lifts were low compared to his previous claims.

I agree with you KA. Working in the industry you get a sense for who is in it for money, and who to help. While I respect him for helping people get away from magazine workouts, I would rather point people to John Christy or Casey Butt.
