Then you need to meet Jerick Johnson - Powerlifter.

This is a one hour video, but if your new and looking for motivation to succeed, it will be well worth your time to watch it.
Location: Small town in Texas
Character: Jerick Johnson, a small 112 pound kid that lives in a town that lives for sports and puts strength above everything else. Jerick would like to have a little respect, as well as have a couple of male friends. He has decided to use powerlifting as his vehicle to respect.
Coach: Johnnie O. Jackson
Our story begins with Johnnie taking Jerick to the gym and doing a weigh in and strength test.
Jerick weighs in at 112#'s, bench presses 65#'s and deadlifts 95#'s.
Johnnie has entered Jerick in a Push Pull competition that will take place in 7 weeks.
In case you do not want to watch the video and just want to know how Jerick did, well your loss but here it is.
In 7 weeks, Jerick gained about 8 pounds and at the meet, deadlifted over 240 pounds.
So what is your reason that you can not do deadlifts?
