Hand problem?

about a week and a half ago i noticed that there was some swelling in the palm of my right hand (under the bone that kinda connects to the ring finger) if i press on it i feel a good bit of pain. Today i finally got to try to workout since it showed up, and as i was warming up on bench presses it became an issue, once i got to about 130ibs it was just too much, any one else ever have this problem

Never had it on a finger or finger joint. Ice that sucker.

Was it sharp or dull pain? I assume dull...

There are several issues that can cause hand problems.

Sorry to say, but really only a qualified person, (Dr.) can really diagnose what condition it may be. Carpel tunnel is only one possible issue.

These things usually just worse the longer you wait. My Brother is having surgery for something like this. His is called trigger finger.
