Default Anyone ever see the Punisher with Thomas Jane?

One of my fav movies and I was looking around the internet and stumbled across his training for the movie, I remember this being in Mens Health but I was wondering what your guy's take was on it..I don't believe it

The workout looks pretty much cut and paste volume training but the diet of protein only...seems very paleo. I can see him picking up some good fat loss - maybe even some quality beginner gains if he never seriously trained with weights before.

But I think most of the magazine stuff is "amplified" the make you feel more desperate and inferior.

*Must go buy supplements*....

Am I reading wrong? When he mentions the high protein, he says TJ avoided chicken? I thought chicken was a pretty good food, no?.. Good protein, no carbs, very low fat.. I eat up to 1/2Lb of chicken every day, sometimes more....

Chicken is solid. Not sure why he avoided it. Maybe he ate higher calorie protein foods with a larger fat content like beef.

A little off topic. There is a great little New Zealand movie called "Once were Warriors", the main actor in that ate 2 chickens a day to bulk for the role.

If you ever get a chance give it a watch. Pretty had take on the Native Maori population.
