The article mentioned that Chase bank is involved in helping him. My Wife works for Chase bank. I'll ask her about this, if they have anything at her branch.

this is crazy sad. i hate having the thought of this in the back of my mind when i go to the gym but would like to support anyone who ends up in this unfortunate situation.

yeah it makes you really think is it worth it, but then again we are no safer than a football player or race car driver, these things just happen

yeah this kid lives about an hour away from me... it was all over the news... me and a few of my buddies are going down to donate friday to help his cause, so sad.

Yup, this is very sad, and an eye-opener to all of us to be careful. Not a lot of people look at it as potentially dangerous, so they just throw around the weight without worrying about what could happen if something goes wrong. I'm not assuming this guy did, as it was obviously an accident, I'm just speaking in general terms.

We're in high risk doing anything, any day though. Just have to be careful. These things happen. My thoughts are with him and his family.
