I believe it's quite likely Jason has received something, or will receive something - for free, that is - for highlighting a particular product in that way.
I'm not saying I know for sure one way or the other - I don't. However, when this kind of thing happens anywhere, I am automatically suspicious as to the person's precise motives. Kickbacks are extremely common in today's world, and they occur in just about every arena.
Anyhow. At worst, this still doesn't mean I'm about to attack Mr. Blaha in any way. Best of luck to him, whether he's receiving "support" like that or not.
And that goes for others who might have similar arrangements. Needless to say, I suppose.

To be fair, he kinda brought this on himself. He's been beating the same drum for many years on a handful of subjects. One of those subjects is the supplement industry. Intentional or not, he has 'brainwashed' his followers into believing that the whole industry is a scam and anyone pushing supplements is a scammer and part of a money-making racket.
I can't remember him every saying anything positive about any supplement made by anyone.
I'm not saying that it has never happened.
But I think I can confidently say that it has not been the norm with Blaha.
He's even put out a video basically saying that creatine doesn't work, or at least doesn't work as well as some people claim.
In this video he says that 95 percent of the supplement industry is a big con. (says it around 7:40).
So if you're constantly telling your followers that supplements are a scam and a money making racket and a big con, then one day you're saying good things about a supplement, you shouldn't be surprised if there's backlash.
In my hands, I hold the ashes... in my veins, black pitch runs.
