Default Goals for 2015?

It is right around the corner, and time to start looking back at your 2014 goals and plans for 2015. I will get it started.

In 2014 I was pleased with my successful come back from major injury. Set new major PRS in all lifts, competed at the Arnold, picked up some new sponsorships, and really just enjoyed lifting. I am also down about 40lbs since March of 2014.

In life I was happy to get a new position teaching, family is happy, life is overall really good. My coaching business is growing steady, picking up clients, and making them stronger is always a good thing.

Now the bad. I bombed at the Arnold (bench), I have had a few health issues, and some money troubles. Really though, if that is the worse I have then I am in good shape haha!

So 2015 GOALS!
Lifting: Finish the Arnold at 275 class. This will be my first meet at 275, and on the biggest stage I could find. I really just want to make it through the day! I want to compete at the Olympia in 2015 as well.

Individual lift goals
Squat: 1060 multiply, 900 single ply (walked out) and 825 in wraps
Bench: 800 multiply, 725 single ply, Raw?
Deadlift: 775

Job: Get on with florida virtual public schools so I can work from home. Also grow my training business to include 3 new clients per month.

Life: Stay healthy!

Lets see what you guys have!

I am game; lets see.

During 2014:
I was happy to come back from my second shoulder injury and be almost as strong as I was before.

I was happy to move my deadlift up to 500, huge goal for a long time.

Unhappy with bodyfat/weight.

Goals for 2015:
Move training back towards powerlifting.

Drop down to a consistent 220 lbs, possibly 198.

Total 1300+.

2014
* Got married in Aug! Hands down the biggest high for me in 2014.
* Restarted lifting in Jan after a long break to get in shape.
* Went down in from 192-194 to 173-174 lbs for the wedding between Jan-July and got a little stronger as well.
* Gained back every pound and some more after the wedding.
* Just applying for a new job this month.

2015
* Get back to gym (with all the travel post-wedding, haven't lifted since July end).
* Lose the flab (yet again) and cut down to 175 ish lbs.
* Achieve 1000 lbs total in the big 3.
* Clean and Press my bodyweight and then some.

Short term goal (first meet of 2015 in April) is to break the 1300lb total.

Long term goal for 2015 will be to set the NASA M2 198 National record total in November. Currently it will take 1380.

Strive to be a better human being.

Assist others in their various needs.

Continue my madness under the iron and diet, to be able to take care of my wife who is not well.

Write my pertinent goals as I improve, adjust when they do not, and learn what I can and all I can.

Slap aging in the face to see what it can take.

Spent most of this year recovering from different injuries and strains, together with handling some personal matters.

Goals for 2015 is

Life in general
Get my drivers licence finally!
Get a job that Iam happy with.
Spend more time with the loved ones.

Training
Stay injury free
Squat 250kg wearing a belt and sleeves
Powerclean 140kg
Strict press 120kg
Pushpress 150kg
Deadlift 350kg

Compete internationally across europe this summer, not on pro level but at smaller comps to get my feeling back for the sport after a full year off.
