Default I'm back at it next week

Sup guys, been a long time. I just had my gallstone surgery last Wed. and I'm gona be getting back to lifting in 2 weeks. Due to my required diet before having my gallbladder out I lost 18lbs and now I'm down too 182lbs, currently I am limited to only lift 10 lbs max doctors orders but I should be good to go in 2 weeks.

What happened to the Chat box?

Anyone have suggestions for getting back to Lifting after surgery?

Blaha from Ice scream fitness was in the box with us and we started making fun of Cutty's mom. She got with the good doctor Layne Norton and they shut down the box. Damnit.

Rick...welcome back. I would start with 4 compound movments: squat, bench, deads and bb rows. I would just introduce one for a few weeks. Like bench. Start very slow and easy. One set your first workout. Then four days later and another set. Stay light. Go very conservative. After you can start progressing...add squats. And so on. This should be so slow you feel your not pushing hard enough....at least for a few months. Its a journey Rick.

Take your time, ease into it. Cut the volume down big time from what you are use to the first few weeks. Its a marathon not a sprint. Good luck!
