Default The 2010 "Drop Fat" Challenge

I am putting together a friendly challenge in 2010.

I want to hit 220 pounds. Where am I at currently? Well, the last time I hit the scale I was 270, but that was before Thanksgiving and Christmas. So, I am probably over that weight.

If any of you are looking to cut fat in 2010, put your goals on this thread. I need some extra motivation and some people to compete against.

There are no prizes, etc. I just want to help you to achieve your goals, and heighten my motivation.

Don't post your goal on this thread unless you can handle being asked about it for 365 straight days.

I'm in BtB. I need to drop about 40 pounds. I'm up around 240 and want to hit at least 200 this year.

This will be my goal in 2011. 2010 is about putting as much muscle on my frame as I can squeeze on. I do plan to get more serious with my diet, but cutting at this point in not the major plan. I will probably lose some weight as I recomp, but I would not venture a guess as to a goal weight.

If there is one thing I do know, it's that anybody who takes up the challenge will meet that goal. There are just to many of us who will be pushing for you to succeed for you to fail.

I'm in.

I'll be cutting for the summer. Nothing major. Once I gain a little bit more mass/ strength I'm going to start cutting. Probably 15 LBS or less.

This will be hard for me. Last time I wanted to loose weight, I wasn't conceded about maintaining strength and muscle.

I too plan to drop some weight. 220-230 would be nice. I am around 270 myself at the moment. The Dr had me on some serious restrictions ATM but I can do light cardio and refocus on my diet in the meantime. I can't wait for this ordeal to be over. I miss the weight room. Hell BTB I'll pm you my cell to help with those binge moments when you don't care if you took the wrapper off the food before you cram it down your throat.

I'd like to see 10% BF. I haven't calipered in quite a while, so I don't know where I'm at right now. I tend to really feel my best at about 195 - 200 or so. I weighed in at 219.5 yesterday. The last time I got down to the 10% range, I had to get down to 180. I looked pretty weenie. Of course I was eating about 2000 cals/day while doing madcow and HIIT 2 - 3 times a week. I'll take a more sensible approach, and hopefully, I'll be able to carry a little more weight this time. I'll shoot for 10% and let the scale be damned.
