Default Leaf Blower

My new house has three or four oak trees around the perimeter dropping countless leaves everywhere. Any recommendations for a good petrol (gas) powered leaf blower? I looked at the electric ones but they looked too puny

I suggest a rake & (maybe) hiring someone to use it- your neighbors will thank you.

But if that is not an option - Husqvarna (aka Husky) makes great yard tools .

No clue of they have them over the pond, but hard to beat a Stihl! Good luck with the leaves

I second a Stilh, also if the yard is big I suggest getting the backpack one, but that is personal preference. You pay more for it but the increased flow makes it a lot better in my opinion.

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

All I can say is don't rule out electric. Gas powered lawn equipment can sometimes require more upkeep, and can be a pain to start. My gas powered weed trimmer was a royal pain in the ass. I spent more time trying to start it than use it.

I would search Amazon for electric and gas blowers and check out reviews.

I've got a Stihl handheld blower and my old boss had a Husqavarna backpack. Both are great brands, my Stihl can sit for several weeks and then cold start in less than a minute. I have a Husky weedeater that starts immediately. I like 2 strokes myself but have heard good things about the new Husqavarna 4 strokes. If you have ethanol in your gas then add some additive
