Default Jeans for Christmas

If there's anything I really want for Christmas it would be jeans closely followed by steaks and potatoes. I'm out growing my jeans to the point walking in them is very uncomfortable. It almost looks as if my jeans are stuffed with giant summer sausages, and my family will be able to eat for days at our Christmas party...

You get the picture. Most of my jeans are still fine in the waist, but my waist is getting a little bigger too. What are some good, cheap jeans, for guys with legs? Loose fit jeans aren't doing the trick so much anymore here in the 34 waist. And I appreciate comments that suggest buying sweats, but I'm a jeans kind of guy.

I buy my jeans a size or two bigger in the waist so they fit my thighs and glutes properly. Just get a belt or they will fall off. Otherwise, I can't get my hands into the pockets. I am a 38 waist, but wear 40s. If I forget my belt, they just hang on my ass and it looks like I have a big dump in my pants.

I go with Wranglers from the cheap big box stores, they run anywhere from $15-$20 a pair.

Thanks, man. But let's say I get some 36 waist jeans, and then my waist gets to where it would comfortably fit 32's if it weren't for the legs. I plan on spending about 8 weeks losing weight starting in January so how much will that effect things? Or does the answer remain the same?

It all depends on you. If I lost a pants size down to 36, then I would probably still buy 38s since I carry very little fat on my thighs and glutes.

I have the same problem, im currently on 38/38 and having a lose waist but tight at thighs. I found some good LEE or G.Star jeans to wear though but its always a quest to find new ones.

I wear Lee dungaree ( carpenter style) to work, plenty of room. Lucky brand jeans also have lots of quad room.

I'm definitely looking to get some new skinny jeans for myself this Christmas...

Just kidding, I can't fit in skinny jeans

Haha, the jeans I have on today may as well be skinny jeans. My mom even asked if I was wearing skinny jeans, and I just said, "I don't know. Maybe. My legs make em look so." I guess if anything, people can see my squatstrings and deadliftimus maximus, and nonexistent calves.

Ha, are you my twin?

My waist is still around 33-34, but my legs will simply not fit in 34" jeans - haven't for quite a while. I've been wearing 36s for a while now, but very recently, they've been no good either.

I've decided to go for other kinds of pants, but if you want jeans that fit... maybe something like www.makeyourownjeans.com ? Not sure what the prices are like these days, but they used to look okay (was keeping it in mind for, oddly enough, exactly what's happened of late).
