Default "Apply Enough of you"

Listen up. And, listen real good, and read between the lines of this post.

When you were born, there was only one of you.

For the rest of your life, you will be unique as compared to another, no matter
what you do. Think about it.

When concerning your desires of fitness training, there isn't a book written
for you.

You see, you have to write the book yourself, and amend it as you write.

The basic and fundamental guidelines of diet and fitness is what you need to learn. Once you obtain this knowledge, then being able to apply and modify this knowledge to your "specific" lifestyle in accordance to your likes, dislikes, and applicable activity, will be the key to guide you ("at your determined speed") to your goal.

Once you have the basics understood, and as time passes and you learn more advanced methods you then can take some science behind it and blend this in to tweak certain areas of diet and fitness to better or improve your goal path.

The basic and fundamentals of diet and fitness is the absolute super glue that allows the more advanced methods to work, and don't forget it. Knowledge is the essential key. Persistence and consistency of this application into your lifestyle is the other essential ingredient. In addition, you need to apply "enough of you" to get the goal you want and desire completed.

If hiring a personal trainer/nutritionist is out of the question, then YOU have to become the personal trainer and nutritionist within your lifestyle and work in something that works.

Once you obtain this knowledge, believe me you can obtain enough information to be able to adapt to changing situations in your life, adjust on the fly, and still maintain your goal path, if you just apply "enough of you" to get it done. Believe me when I tell you, all it takes is diet and fitness knowledge and being able to perceive it correctly and adapting it to you and to your lifestyle--if you apply "enough of you" to be able to apply what has been learned.

Being successful, begins within...

Test your limits, and be the designer your own dream.

One truest form of wisdom is learning to "master yourself" within your fitness goals.

The body has no mind but will listen to your mind all the time.

Do you master it, or does it master you?

You write the book and apply enough you and find out....

Rock on today, and give some one a warm smile, a pat on the back, and encouragement.

There isn't enough of this in our world today, just look around and you see this to be true....

We are brother and sisters....

May we all be kind to one another....

Don

Thank you Hunter. Hope your day was fantastic, and family is doing well.

"Apply Enough of You" to continue from the first post in the thread:

Those sincere and devoted to their particular goals, will find the time to learn certain training mechanisms, diet mechanics and its personal requirements particular to them, but spend so little personal time in the duration of time that is spent out of the gym, which encompasses 95% or more of our daily hours.

What am I referring to? The pyschology of learning the self. Simply put, you have to deal with yourself properly, or your finished.

It is this very thing that creates, maintains, and breaks, personal goal wants and needs. This assumes that there is an on-going hunger to learn the basic and advanced methods of training and dieting, and how to manipulate these to ones personal situation and needs, during this same 95% time frame. If not, this adds in an additional issue. Most of motivation (but not all), is created out of the gym, and during the 95% time frame: Getting motivation from external sources, is all well and good, but you have to remember (for example), that if you are relying on someone else to motivate you---what if this person does not show up? Then what?

Well, you are left with yourself, and yourself is really and truelly all you got, and lets hope you are not viewing the world through inappropriate stained glass.

One day you feel fine, the next day stresses at work, stresses from children, stresses from money deprivation, stresses from situations within the family, etc, and you feel emotionally terrible. Sometimes there is no reason why you feel like crap (you are not sick, so what gives?), and some days ya' just do not feel "it".

What "within you" makes decisions that either turn you to do things in which are on par with your goal (like keeping your diet, and training on the day scheduled) or turn you away from the things in which tend to create inconsistency toward your goal? Do you study yourself enough with your pros and cons to create a workable solution and a plan of action to deal with your "enemy within?"

Spend some sincere time studying your emotions, stresses, and enemy within during the time away from the gym. It will be time well spent. How? Well, next I will provide some example possibilities.

Hope your day is good. Spread peace and happiness to everyone. Give encouragement, and a pat on the back to some one each day if can. And, remember a pat on the back "can be" the same as a swift kick-in-the-ass as well. Serves same purpose.

You know the old saying from Plato: an unexamined life is a life not worth living.....

Let us twist this into another: An unexamined self, is a goal not "worth" having.

The reason: If you can't handle dealing with yourself, than the value and "worth" of your goal eventually depletes and loses its value, and you are finished.

Before I continue with the second part from the post yesterday, does anyone impose a plan of action in dealing with their "differences" in how they feel day to day, in emotions, attitude, and the alike, in how it effects their diet and training, and how they handle it. Do you examine the circumference of diet (see if something is lacking?), frequency and volume of training, or if this checks out and the body is just being a "turd", what do you guys and gals do? Act on a whim? Or plan? What?

Peace and harmony to all of you today and everyday,

Don
