Default Restaurants suck

Not even considering that the portions keep getting smaller, and meat and cheese keep getting replaced with bread;

I spent 13 dollars at Chik-Fil-A, and am still hungry. I can't do that 3 or 4 times a day.

Of course most people won't have this problem. And that I counted 2100 calories scares me...

Choose better places. We have a restaurant here called Black Bear Diner. For that same amount of money you could have a huge meal that will fill you up with 2,500 calories, not including the drink.

Truck stops usually have really good food, good portions, and good prices. Chick Filet? Chicken is too lean even when it is fried.

I estimate that I gained 5-7 pounds the week I was over there!

Our truck stop shut down a couple years back.

Buffets are great. I should have titled it "fast food sucks."

I'll second that. Can't believe portion size is a problem in the US.

I remember eating at a steak place in San Antonio. I was confident that I could demolish anything they could bring me. I got the biggest single piece of meat I'd ever seen on a plate. I doubt that I ate two-thirds of it. And it turned out there was a portion size that was even bigger than the one I ordered.

Some of the meals I had in Louisiana needed their own zip code.

Everything's bigger in Texas

Cajun country has some of the best seafood in the world..... but it is a crap load of food.
